Senior .NET Developer

Contract .Net Developer - Insurance claims system | £400 Per Day (Outside IR35) We’re working with a leading specialist insurer driving a massive digital transformation on this exciting opportunity.

This is a high-impact role where you will help overhaul a modern claims automation platform using the latest .NET ecosystems. You will be at the core of a major integration programme, architecting scalable microservices and robust APIs that handle critical insurance workflows at scale.

The Role

• Design and build high-performance backend solutions using .NET Core and .NET 5+ for a flagship claims platform.
• Architect and deploy scalable microservices that integrate seamlessly across a complex multi-system landscape.
• Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from designing secure APIs to implementing rigorous unit testing.
• Collaborative with cross-functional delivery teams to ensure backend solutions meet high-availability and performance standards.
• Contribute to minor front-end enhancements where necessary to ensure a smooth end-to-end user experience.

What You’ll Need

• Extensive experience in Backend Development specifically with .NET Core and .NET 5/6/7 frameworks.
• Proven expertise in Microservices Architecture and designing RESTful APIs for complex integration environments.
• Strong SQL and database integration skills, ensuring data integrity across large-scale claims systems.
• Prior experience working within the Insurance or Fintech sector is highly desirable for understanding regulated workflows.
• A proactive, self-sufficient mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced, agile environment.
