Cardio AI is on a mission to make cardiac health monitoring intelligent, accessible, and proactive. As a Mobile App Developer Intern within our STEM Program, you will work alongside a cross-functional team of engineers, cardiologists, and AI researchers to build and refine patient-facing and clinician-facing mobile experiences on both iOS and Android platforms. This role is open to remote and hybrid candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

What you’ll do

•       

Design and build features for iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose) apps

•       

Integrate AI-powered cardiac monitoring APIs and real-time data streams

•       

Collaborate with UX designers to deliver intuitive, accessible user interfaces

•       

Write clean, well-documented, and testable code with code reviews

•       

Participate in agile sprints, stand-ups, and product planning sessions

•       

Help troubleshoot and debug cross-platform performance issues

What we’re looking for

•       

Currently enrolled in a STEM degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related)

•       

Hands-on experience with iOS development using Swift or SwiftUI

•       

Hands-on experience with Android development using Kotlin or Java

•       

Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and mobile networking concepts

•       

Exposure to Git-based version control workflows

•       

Passion for healthcare innovation and AI-driven solutions
