Trade Assistant

Genus Infrastructure is currently seeking experienced Trade Assistants to join the Clean Energy Link North (CELN) project based in Eneabba, WA . This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a major infrastructure project with ongoing career opportunities.

• 2:1 DIDO roster
• 11 paid hours per day
• Approx. 12-month project with ongoing opportunities across Genus
• Fortnightly pay

About the Role Working alongside experienced crews, you’ll assist with the construction of high-voltage transmission infrastructure across various stages of the project.

Duties Include

• Assisting Electricians
• General construction labouring
• Manual handling and lifting
• Equipment and material handling
• Cable handling and installation support
• Assisting with civil and structural works
• Loading and unloading materials
• Operating hand and power tools
• Spotting plant and equipment
• Working safely within a high-risk construction environment

Essential Requirements

• HR Driver’s Licence (or higher – HC/MC)
• Construction White Card

Highly Regarded

• High Risk Work Licence
• EWP (11m+)
• Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging
• Franna (CN Crane)
• Forklift (LF)
• Telehandler
• Previous transmission line, substation or major infrastructure experience
