Azure Fabric Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Fabric Lead to manage and support high-volume, mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee the design, development, and operational support of large-scale data platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and support of large-scale data platforms using Azure technologies.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Assess existing applications for architectural enhancements.
• Recommend best practices for cloud-native data architecture.
• Conduct solution design reviews and collaborate with architects.
• Manage mission-critical applications ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Lead triage calls with stakeholders to facilitate incident response.
• Utilize knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Manage data virtualization platforms for improved data accessibility.
• Maintain operational governance and promote continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor data engineering/operations teams.
• Work in rotational shifts to support 24/7 operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience with Azure technologies and data solutions.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps, and SQL/Synapse data warehouse.
• Desirable skills include experience with data virtualization platforms like Denodo.
• Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Solutions Architect are a plus.
• Strong understanding of container platforms like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and handle escalations.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
