Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Custom Framing Sales & Order Coordinator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in custom picture framing who enjoys working with clients and helping bring their vision to life.

In this role, you will guide clients through framing selections, prepare estimates, process orders, and act as the primary liaison between clients and our production team. While you will not be physically building frames, a strong understanding of framing materials, construction methods, and design principles is essential.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to recommend framing solutions based on artwork, design preferences, budget, and preservation needs.
• Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for custom framing, printing, mirrors, and related services.
• Enter detailed work orders with precise specifications for production.
• Measure artwork and verify dimensions to ensure accurate ordering.
• Recommend appropriate moldings, matting, glazing, mounting, backing, and finishing options.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Communicate with clients regarding approvals, project updates, timelines, and delivery schedules.
• Review completed orders to ensure they meet Skyframe’s quality standards before shipment or installation.
• Maintain organized project files, client records, and order documentation.
• Develop strong relationships with designers, artists, galleries, and repeat clients by providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in custom picture framing, frame shop operations, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of framing materials, conservation practices, mounting methods, glazing options, and frame construction.
• Ability to read drawings and accurately interpret measurements and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with order management or POS systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is helpful but not required.
• Experience working with high-value artwork, interior designers, galleries, or museums is a plus.
• Ability to provide design guidance while balancing aesthetics, functionality, and budget.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
