Role Description The AI Filmmaker internship is a remote role that supports the development and production of short films and experimental visual narratives using AI-assisted tools. Day-to-day tasks may include collaborating on concept development, assisting with scriptwriting, preparing shot lists, and organizing production assets in digital workflows. Interns may help coordinate virtual production activities, support basic video and audio capture, and participate in post-production tasks such as reviewing AI-generated footage, refining edits, and preparing versions for feedback. The role also involves researching new AI tools and techniques for filmmaking, documenting processes, and contributing creative ideas to improve project quality and efficiency. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in AI-enabled film production while working closely with the creative team.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills related to Film Direction and Scriptwriting, including visual storytelling, character development, and narrative structure.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Film Production and Video Production, such as basic camera operation, shot planning, and coordination of production tasks.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Post-Production, including familiarity with editing workflows, timeline organization, and integrating visual or sound elements.
• Interest or experience in AI tools for media creation, video editing software, and digital collaboration platforms is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are required.
• Relevant coursework or personal projects in film, media, or digital storytelling are a plus; a portfolio or samples of previous work are highly valued.
