Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, cloud-based data lakes, and big data processing solutions using Azure services. Core skills for Azure Data Engineers commonly include Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, SQL, Python, and Spark.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Experience with Azure Databricks and PySpark
  • Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Strong SQL and Python programming
  • ETL/ELT pipeline development
  • Spark, Delta Lake, and Data Warehousing concepts
  • Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
  • Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD
  • Experience with REST APIs and data integration
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • Azure DP-203 Certification
  • Experience working in Agile environments

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
  • Build ETL/ELT solutions using Azure services.
  • Optimize data processing and query performance.
  • Develop data models for analytics and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Support production deployments and troubleshoot data issues.
