Job Description

What: A Senior Software Engineer position title and an outstanding Problem-Solving Collaboration skills

When:

ASAP!

Where: Hybrid: Bengaluru/Pune in office 1+ days per week in alignment with our office work policy.

The day-to-day:

  • 4+ years building test automation frameworks, internal tools, or developer-productivity infrastructure (not just authoring test cases).
  • Strong Python: frameworks, packaging, CLIs, and pytest; comfortable designing clean, layered, reusable abstractions and data-driven E2E regression suites.
  • Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and React; hands-on experience building and maintaining frontend test automation.
  • Hands-on with Docker Docker Compose and service orchestration; comfortable with microservice architectures, gRPC/protobuf, and REST APIs.
  • Experience integrating test suites with reporting/management tools (ReportPortal, TestRail, JIRA) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with observability tooling (Datadog, distributed tracing, log search).

Skills qualities we value:

  • API mocking (MSW) and building service/supplier simulators or record/playback mocks for deterministic tests.
  • Experience with distributed Locust runs and Datadog reporting.
  • Infra exposure: Postgres, Redis, Kafka, Temporal, MongoDB/DynamoDB, LocalStack/AWS, nginx.
  • Building AI-agent / MCP tooling or LLM-assisted developer workflows.
  • Travel/fintech domain or large-scale distributed-systems experience.
