Work Environment This role involves working directly with adolescents in residential treatment, some of whom may present with high-risk or unpredictable behaviors requiring active de-escalation and crisis response. The role also involves moderate to rigorous physical activity — standing/walking 4+ hours, lifting up to 50 lbs — and some exposure to varied environmental conditions. We provide training and support to help you navigate these moments with confidence.
Why Ascend? Ascend Healthcare is an independently owned, mission-driven behavioral health organization dedicated to helping adolescents and families heal. If you’re a nurse who wants to bring both clinical excellence and genuine heart to your work, we’d love to hear from you.
