the ideal candidate:

• Experience of AP Ledger, ideally from a product-led or FMCG business
• Process-driven, and passionate about systems, automation, and efficiency
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, able to build structure and controls under pressure
• Detail-oriented and collaborative, with the confidence to influence stakeholders
• Intermediate or advanced excel skills are desirable
• Ability to work under pressure and within tight time frames
• Sage experience preferrable

Scope of the role:

• Assist with all aspects of the purchase ledger; tasks include ensuring invoices and credit notes are processed on time, chasing outstanding invoices and credit notes, and resolving supplier issues
• Participate in weekly bank reconciliations – posting transactions to Sage, allocating payments and receipts
• Maintain the Accounts email inbox – forwarding invoices for processing, reconciling supplier statements, and resolving or escalating supplier issues
• Providing ad-hoc support to the wider team
