Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Power BI Developer. The Power BI Developer will design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, modeling data for optimized reporting, and integrating data from multiple sources into Power BI. The role involves managing data pipelines, refining data quality, and ensuring that visualizations are accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives. The Power BI Developer will also support performance tuning, documentation, and best practices for business intelligence solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to design scalable, well-structured datasets for reporting.
• Candidates should possess expertise in developing Power BI Dashboards, including interactive visualizations and reports tailored to business needs.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into recommendations.
• Candidates should possess experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes to integrate and prepare data from diverse sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, and SQL or similar query languages.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or similar) is beneficial.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
