Accounting Expert – AI Model Training

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking experienced accounting professionals to join a 12-week remote contract focused on improving next-generation artificial intelligence models. This unique opportunity allows accounting experts to apply their technical knowledge by reviewing, evaluating, and refining AI-generated accounting content. Rather than performing traditional accounting functions, you’ll help train AI systems to produce more accurate, reliable, and professional accounting guidance.

This role is ideal for accountants who enjoy problem-solving, technical research, and written communication while working independently in a flexible, fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses related to accounting, financial reporting, tax concepts, auditing, and general accounting principles.
• Assess responses for technical accuracy, clarity, completeness, and professional quality.
• Annotate, rank, and provide feedback on AI-generated content to improve model performance.
• Create high-quality written explanations and sample responses to accounting-related questions.
• Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or misleading information and recommend corrections.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards throughout the contract engagement.
• Collaborate with project guidelines while working independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Professional accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, tax, audit, advisory, or finance.
• CPA designation is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, accounting principles, financial reporting, and/or tax concepts.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Comfortable working independently in a structured remote environment.
• General familiarity with AI tools and large language models (LLMs) is a plus.
