Casual Admin & Social Media Assistant (Entry Level)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and organised Casual Admin & Social Media Assistant to support a local basketball organisation focused on growing grassroots participation across Melbourne.

This is an entry-level role suited to someone who enjoys social media, online communities, and light admin work. No formal qualifications are required – free training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Community Engagement

• Engage with Melbourne-based basketball Facebook groups
• Identify and collect relevant posts, events, and player details
• Encourage players to register with 613 Basketball
• Help grow local Facebook groups (Box Hill & North Melbourne areas)

Hours & Work Structure

• Daily check-in: Remote work
• Weekly: Video call
• Flexible scheduling, with clear tasks and goals

About You

This role would suit someone who is:

• Friendly, bubbly, and confident online
• Comfortable using social media daily
• Organised and dependable
• Happy to do repetitive but important tasks
• Interested in sport or community work (a bonus, not required)
