Network Operations Engineer
Contract-to-Perm
Onsite 4x a week (mid-town NYC Office)
Looking for a a hands-on, senior-level role for someone who lives and breathes Cisco for a small hedge find / family office. You’ll own the day-to-day of a sophisticated multi-site network, keep it fast and secure, and play a lead role in evolving it toward a modern hybrid, multi-vendor architecture. If you like being the person who actually knows how the network works end to end, this is your seat.
You’ll be deep in:
Cisco Nexus & Catalyst switching and routing
BGP-based EVPN / Cisco NDFC
BGP-based internet edge
SD-WAN
Cisco / Meraki Wi-Fi
SolarWinds NPM/NCM
What makes you a fit:
7-8 years hands-on in Cisco/network infrastructure
Deep command of routing & switching, ACLs, 802.1x, VXLAN, VoIP
An autonomous problem-solver who thinks on their feet
Someone who documents cleanly and shares knowledge to lift the whole team
Cisco certs and DCNM/NDFC experience are a real plus
