Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Technical Sales Specialist to join our growing team, specialising in conveyor belt systems and material handling solutions. This role is ideal for someone who understands industrial environments and enjoys combining hands-on technical knowledge with customer-facing sales.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships across industries such as mining, quarrying, recycling, agriculture, and bulk material handling. You will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to understand site challenges and recommend practical, reliable solutions—including conveyor belts, mechanical fasteners, and splicing systems.
Key responsibilities include identifying customer needs, preparing technical quotations, conducting product presentations, and providing on-site or remote technical support. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality service, helping customers reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
About you:
- Experience in technical sales, industrial products, or mechanical components (conveyor or materials handling experience highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of conveyor systems or willingness to learn quickly
- Ability to communicate technical solutions in a clear, practical way
- Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working independently
- Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills
