This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality assurance and quality control processes across all project phases, ensuring that construction work meets design intent, specifications, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction environments and a proven ability to drive quality performance across multiple trades and subcontractors in a fast-paced project setting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the project-specific QA/QC program and inspection plans
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes
  • Oversee quality control across all trades including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and low voltage systems
  • Coordinate with project management, superintendents, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, and non-conformance reports
  • Track deficiencies, punch lists, and corrective actions through to resolution
  • Support material submittals, mock-ups, and pre-installation meetings
  • Ensure proper installation methods and workmanship standards are maintained across all scopes
  • Work closely with commissioning teams to ensure systems are installed and tested correctly
  • Participate in coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and field teams
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with QA/QC requirements and project standards
  • Promote a strong culture of quality awareness across all project teams

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of experience in QA/QC or field quality roles within construction
  • Strong experience in large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects
  • Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and multi-trade coordination
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Experience managing quality programs across multiple subcontractors and disciplines
  • Strong understanding of inspection processes, documentation, and defect resolution
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Experience in data center, healthcare, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects preferred
  • Certifications such as CQM (Construction Quality Management) or similar is a plus
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred

Preferred Background

Candidates may come from general contractors, construction management firms, EPC contractors, or specialized QA/QC consulting roles supporting large-scale infrastructure projects. Experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers is highly desirable.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive quality professional who can ensure consistent construction excellence across a complex, multi-trade data center program. The ideal candidate will be confident in the field, highly organized, and capable of driving corrective actions and continuous improvement across all project teams.

This is a key leadership role supporting a major mission-critical construction program with strong long-term career growth potential.
