Job Description
An innovative organisation in the financial technology space is looking for a Java Developer. This role focuses on solving performance problems at the lowest levels of the stack, building and maintaining high-performance infrastructure used by global market participants.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing market connectivity and FIX integration solutions.
- Optimising execution workflows and smart order routing systems.
- Designing real-time trading systems where latency and throughput are critical.
- Building high-performance trading infrastructure from the ground up.
- Managing low-level system design and reliability for electronic trading.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong expertise in Core Java, multi-threading, and concurrency.
- Deep understanding of memory management and garbage collection optimisation.
- Experience with low-latency system design and the FIX Protocol.
- Knowledge of electronic trading technology, such as market connectivity.
- Legal authorisation to work in the UK without sponsorship.
