Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer I, you will play an essential role in designing and deploying software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. Your primary focus will be on core development tasks, demonstrating a good handle on programming languages and the use of various development tools. You will develop the ability to integrate and consume APIs, gain experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, containerization basics, CI/CD pipelines, and AI concepts and their applications, while developing skills in automated testing strategies.

• Designs and develops using modern architecture patterns and cloud-native approaches.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into coding solutions leveraging AI when appropriate.
• Actively participates and collaborates in meetings, processes, agile ceremonies and interaction with other technology groups.
• Ability to interpret code and solve problems through root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Participates in the code review process for learning purposes and to understand.
• Acts on the correction of incidents identified by the continuous code quality inspection tool.
• Executes on provided design while suggesting AI-enhanced improvements.
• Develops both front-end and back-end components with attention to performance and security.
