Job Description

About the Foundation:

The OpenClaw Foundation is the steward of the world’s largest open source AI agent project. Its mission is grounded in a foundational conviction: that AI must be open, safe, and ultimately owned by the individuals and communities who use it.

The Foundation operates across three core mandates:

  • Advancing research into the human-agent relationship while continuously evolving the OpenClaw platform;
  • Maintaining and hardening the codebase to ensure security, reliability, and long-term sustainability;
  • Establishing interoperability standards for the emerging agent era, defining how agents configure, communicate, establish trust, transact, and represent user identity across ecosystems.

Modeled after the governance structures that shaped the open web and modern computing infrastructure, the Foundation serves as a neutral, multi-stakeholder convening body — the equivalent of W3C or the Linux Foundation for the agentic AI era. Major laboratories and infrastructure providers collaborate under its umbrella on shared, vendor-neutral infrastructure, with no single organization controlling the roadmap or direction.

The OpenClaw Foundation believes that individuals should have full sovereignty over their AI: their data, their interactions, and the behavior and personality of their agents. Open source is not incidental to this mission but central to it — code must remain free to use, modify, and build upon. The future of agentic AI will be defined by a broad, developer-driven community, not prescribed by any single commercial interest.

Responsibilities

  • Own complex calendar management and scheduling for the CEO and leadership team, with particular focus on sponsor, partner, and other external-facing commitments
  • Coordinate sponsor and partnership workflows end to end, including meeting prep, follow-ups, materials, pipeline tracking, and CRM/data hygiene
  • Expense management and reconciliation across corporate credit cards and reimbursements
  • Manage meeting operations, including drafting agendas, capturing action items, and driving follow-through across the team
  • Serve as a central coordinator across leadership, technical teams, marketing, and external partners to keep communication tight and priorities aligned
  • Support team operations as the organization scales, including onboarding, internal systems, and other key administrative workflows
  • Plan and execute logistics for travel, events, and team gatherings, including support for conferences and global community activations
  • Build lightweight systems and processes that improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and help the team operate at speed
    Act as a connective tissue across the organization by surfacing issues early, identifying what’s working, and helping the team stay aligned in a fast-moving environment

Ideal Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, operations, or program management role in a fast-moving startup or mission-driven organization
  • Proven experience supporting senior executives or founders in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment; able to operate with minimal direction and ramp quickly
  • Exceptional organization, judgment, and written communication skills; comfortable representing the organization with senior external stakeholders
  • Strong operator and systems thinker who closes loops, builds process proactively, and keeps complex, fast-moving workstreams on track
  • Thrives in ambiguity and can flex between strategic coordination and hands-on execution as the organization evolves
  • Tech-forward and AI-literate; ideally excited by open source, AI, developer tools, and working closely with technical leaders and engineers
  • Professional, adaptable, and low-ego, with the maturity to navigate a highly dynamic environment and a broad set of personalities

Compensation Range: $150K - $190K
