Title - Senior PHP Developer

Duration - 6 to 12 Months +

Location - NYC

Work Mode - Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote

• Client seeks a Senior PHP Developer with expertise in Oracle backend technologies and a solid understanding of AWS services. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, APIs, and integrating with Oracle databases while leveraging cloud technologies to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field (or combined with related experience)

• Ability to communicate and work well with others

• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges

• Strong experience in PHP / JavaScript development and web application design.

• Hands-on expertise with Oracle Database, including PL/SQL, SQL, and database optimization.

• Experience with object-oriented design and data modeling

• Familiarity with user experience design principles and processes

• Experience with third-party applications/tools and integration

• Knowledge of web application security considerations

• Working knowledge of Web servers (Apache, IIS)

• Experience with source/version control systems

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong time management and

analytical/problem solving abilities.

• Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools.

• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines

• Experience with RESTFUL APIs

• Experience with cloud services (i.e. AWS. Azure…)

• Experience Power BI Reporting Tool

• Credit/Debit payment processing experience

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Python desired

Additional Skills and Information:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker for PHP applications and Oracle database integration.

• Familiarity with SSL/TLS encryption for secure database connections.

• Knowledge of user authentication, access control, and secure data management practices.
