Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer role based in Bengaluru South. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support complex enterprise and digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical specifications, implementing scalable and secure architectures, writing clean and efficient code, and conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing application performance, and contributing to technical design discussions and documentation. The Senior Software Engineer is also expected to mentor junior engineers, support continuous improvement of development processes, and stay current with emerging technologies relevant to the organization’s solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as Java, C#, Python, or similar) and experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with software architecture, design patterns, and building scalable, secure, and performant systems.
• Practical knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), API development (REST/GraphQL), and integration with third-party services.
• Experience with modern development practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements, perform technical estimation, and translate needs into robust technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to debug and optimize existing codebases.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional, multi-location teams.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or guiding other engineers and contributing to team-wide technical standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in consulting or working with enterprise clients on digital transformation projects is a plus.
