Build and maintain serverless and event-driven architectures for high-availability, low-latency workloads
Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code in Python, Node.js, or Java
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
Ensure application security and compliance — IAM policies, encryption (KMS), secrets management, VPC design, and least-privilege access
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail
Drive cost optimization through right-sizing, autoscaling, and architectural reviews
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals on AWS (VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers)
Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD tooling
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certification — Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate, or DevOps Engineer Professional
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, EKS, Fargate)
Familiarity with event-driven patterns — EventBridge, Kinesis, Step Functions
Exposure to AI/ML services on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker) or building GenAI-integrated applications
Experience with observability stacks (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Prior experience in [industry — e.g., fintech] is a plus
