Senior Distinguished AI Engineer

The Role

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that enhance associate workflows and customer interactions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components, including foundation model training and LLM inference.
• Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, and PyTorch.
• Invent and introduce state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to improve performance of large-scale production AI systems.
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with at least 10 years of experience in AI/ML development, or a Master’s with at least 8 years.
• At least 10 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to architect, design, develop, integrate, and support complex enterprise AI systems.
• Strong foundation in engineering and mathematics, with expertise in optimizing hardware, software, and AI systems.
• Passion for staying abreast of the latest AI research and applying novel techniques in production.
