Lead AI Engineer

The Role

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that enhance associate workflows and customer interactions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, large language model inference, and guardrails.
• Leverage open-source and SaaS AI technologies such as AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, and PyTorch.
• Introduce state-of-the-art LLM optimisation techniques to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in production AI systems.
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with 4+ years of experience in AI/ML algorithm or technology development, or a Master’s with 2+ years.
• At least 4 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience designing, developing, delivering, and supporting AI services.
• Passion for staying updated on the latest AI research and applying novel techniques in production.
