Job Description
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible of the environments monitoring the infrastructure of our customers. You will also have to develop, design, automatize new monitors and integrate them with other systems like CMDB or auto-ticketing.
Role & responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain, and manage both monitoring application and system.
- Develop and improve custom monitors/scripts.
- Contribute to automation projects
Candidate Skills
- Good knowledge of scripting: Bash, Python or Perl (PowerShell is a plus).
- Good background in Linux administration.
- Knowledge of Automation: Ansible, Puppet.
- Good understanding of Networking.
- Solid understanding of ITIL including Incident/Problem/Change Process.
Core Skills
- At least 2 years working in Managed Services.
- At least 5 years of scripting.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the different IT components (servers, network, storage, backup).
- Excellent communication skills (English) spoken, written.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Monitoring Systems: Xymon, Nagios or others
- Experience in Virtualization and Cloud
- Knowledge of Web development
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming language
