Senior AI Engineer

The Role

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that enhance associate workflows and customer interactions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, and core AI infrastructure.
• Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies including AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, and PyTorch.
• Invent and introduce state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques to improve performance of large-scale production AI systems.
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with at least 6 years of experience in AI/ML algorithm development, or a Master’s with at least 4 years of experience.
• At least 6 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• 7 years of experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Passion for staying abreast of the latest AI research and applying novel techniques in production.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex AI concepts to peers.
