We enable a unified environment for developing data products, ML/Ops, and AI/Ops, unlocking actionable insights from Walmart s vast datasets across ultiple cloud platforms.

What You ll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of features, from ideation and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Dedicate 60% of your time to hands-on coding, conducting thorough code reviews, debugging, and optimizing code. Work independently while ensuring top-notch code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable backend systems that manage product data at a global scale.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, make strategic architectural decisions, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Drive the architectural vision and ensure scalable and robust system design.
• Collaborate closely with team leads, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver solutions that are reliable, performant, and aligned with business goals.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship, raising the bar for engineering quality and best practices.
• Analyze and optimize system performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive root cause analysis including identifying issue patterns and working with multiple teams and vendors to address them.
• Providing technical assistance to a broad community of big data users, such as software application engineers and data scientists.

What You ll bring
