Recruiter— IT/AI + Construction & Commercial Real Estate

We are seeking a contract recruiter who can bridge two worlds most recruiters keep separate: hands-on construction and commercial real estate, and technical IT/AI.

This is a 3-month, commission-only engagement. You’ll support our IT/AI recruiting desk while helping us grow our construction and commercial real estate practice.

What you’ll do

• Run full-cycle recruiting for technical IT and AI roles — sourcing, screening, submitting, and closing
• Help grow our construction and commercial real estate desk: building candidate pipelines and client relationships across the trades, field operations, and CRE
• Own your placements end to end and manage your own pipeline

Who we’re looking for

We’ll be upfront — this is an unusual blend, and we know it. The person we want came up on the blue-collar side. You’ve worked in or around construction, the trades, or field operations, and you can talk to a superintendent or a project manager credibly. But you’re also technical enough to recruit for sophisticated IT and AI roles and understand what those candidates actually do.

You might be:

• A recruiter with construction or CRE experience who has also placed IT or technical talent
• Someone from the construction or trades world who moved into recruiting and picked up real technical fluency
• A self-starter who’s equally comfortable sourcing a site superintendent and a machine learning engineer

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Self-directed and motivated by commission — this is a hunter role
• Comfortable with ambiguity and building something new
• Credible on both the blue-collar and the technical sides of the table

Compensation & structure

• Starts as a 3-month contract and extends beyond the initial term based on performance
• Commission-only, with uncapped earnings tied directly to your placements
• Run your own desk on a flexible schedule
