Role Summary
You will join the team as an AI/ML Software engineer, responsible for designing, building, and deploying intelligent generative AI applications — including agentic workflows and agentic chat experiences — that transform how employees interact with their benefits. This role goes beyond individual contribution — you will take technical ownership of complex AI features, guide architectural decisions around LLMs and agent systems, and actively mentor junior engineers. The role requires deep proficiency in generative AI engineering, AWS cloud services, and building secure, high-performance systems that bring agentic AI to production at scale.
You’ll work closely with software developers, architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and performant services that enable seamless user experiences.

- 4–8 years of professional experience in software development or AI engineering.
- Strong design and coding skills, with hands-on experience leading code reviews and SDLC processes.
- Solid problem-solving, analytical, and system-design abilities.
- Mandatory: Strong, hands-on AWS experience — DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3 are core to this role.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Proficiency in C# / Java, NodeJS, TypeScript; deep knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and best practices.
- Python proficiency is highly valued — particularly for scripting, data processing, and AI/ML integrations.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, RESTful APIs, and web application development.
- Demonstrated ability to own complex technical problems and deliver solutions independently.
- Familiarity with development tools like Jira, GitHub, and SonarQube.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; proven experience in Agile environments.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI concepts: prompt engineering, LLM integration, RAG pipelines, tool/function calling, and AI agent frameworks.
- Experience building or contributing to agentic workflows or agentic chat applications is a strong differentiator.
- Familiarity with AWS AI/ML service like Bedrock is highly desirable.
