Job Description

About the role The Project Planning Assistant provides essential support for our current engagement with a London based institutional investment firm. This position exists to ensure that every task and milestone related to this high level mandate is tracked with precision and care. You will serve as a central point of coordination, helping our principals maintain focus on their advisory work while you manage the logistical architecture of the project.

About Arabian Private Holdings Arabian Private Holdings operates on the belief that significant business problems require direct partner attention rather than layers of junior associates. We advise holding companies, government entities, and large family groups on matters of governance, strategy, and operating model efficiency. Our firm remains small by design, choosing to focus on a limited number of mandates where we can form a clear, rigorous view on complex issues. We operate as a fully remote firm, prioritizing the quality of our thought and the strength of our client relationships over physical office presence. This model allows us to deliver honest, independent advice without the distractions of traditional corporate overhead.

What you will do

  • Maintain and update project schedules specifically for our London based institutional client mandate.
  • Draft clear and concise summaries of meetings between our principals and the client team.
  • Track progress on action items to ensure all deliverables are prepared ahead of schedule.
  • Organize and manage the internal documentation library for holding company portfolio reviews.
  • Research regional market entry requirements to support the investment firm strategy.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks in the project timeline and alert the principals.
  • Prepare status reports that provide clarity on current project health and upcoming deadlines.
  • Assist in gathering data needed for governance and operating model assessments.

What we are looking for

  • A high level of clarity in written communication and the ability to summarize complex points.
  • Logical rigor when organizing information and managing multiple small tasks.
  • A genuine curiosity about how large corporations and investment firms are structured.
  • Basic familiarity with project management concepts or tools used to track work history.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying aligned with the team.
  • A meticulous approach to documentation and record keeping.

How we work Our remote operating model is built on trust and professional maturity. We do not use micromanagement or constant surveillance, instead, we rely on clear expectations and regular updates. Each member of the team is expected to manage their own time while remaining responsive to the needs of the mandate. Governance here is about transparency and performance. As an entry level professional, you will have direct access to our principals, who will provide mentoring and feedback as you help them navigate the complexities of our client work. This environment is quiet and focused, prioritizing the work over internal politics or superficial growth targets.

What the role offers

  • Competitive pay that is attractive for an entry level position in the current market.
  • The opportunity to gain professional experience by working on a major international investment project.
  • Direct mentoring from principals with extensive experience in corporate strategy and governance.
  • A fully remote work schedule that offers flexibility and eliminates commuting.
  • Exposure to the inner workings of large scale holding companies and institutional investors.
  • A professional environment that values clear thinking and simple solutions over corporate jargon.
