- Build elegant, scalable microservices using Node.js or .NET on Azurebringing modern architectures, DDD principles and clean APIs to life.
- Shape the product, not just the code by partnering with product, design, QA and business teams to influence solutions from idea through customer impact.
- Own features end-to-endfrom whiteboard to productionensuring customers feel the value of what youve shipped.
- Champion engineering excellence through TDD, automated testing, code reviews, refactoring and hands-on mentorship.
- Continuously improve how we build by optimizing architecture, performance, observability and engineering practices.
- Leverage cuttingedge tools (including AI) to accelerate development, testing, documentation and innovation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR CREATING A LASTING IMPACT
As an Expert Software Engineer II, these skills are essential for success:
- Abilities: Bring deep engineering craftsmanshipfrom strong TDD discipline and handson experience with unit/integration test automation, to proficiency in C#/.NET (with Node.js or similar frameworks a plus), to building cloudnative microservices/microfrontends with eventdriven patterns, Azure SQL/CosmosDB integration, modern DevOps (CI/CD, containers, IaC), and the communication skills to collaborate across teams and translate complex engineering into clear business value.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience at a software product company (building software products sold to businesses or consumers); services/consultancy company backgrounds will only be considered if they involve product engineering in healthcare payments or similar domains.
- Education: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering or a related field preferred.
