Content Writer / Script Writer

We are looking for a passionate Medical Script Writer who can transform medical evidence into clear, engaging, emotionally reassuring, and scientifically accurate educational video scripts for parents.

Your Role

You will work closely with our pediatrician, research team, and creative team to convert evidence-based medical information into premium educational scripts.

This is not a blog writing, SEO content writing, or article writing role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating engaging educational video scripts that simplify complex medical concepts through storytelling while maintaining scientific accuracy.

Your work will directly shape the voice of PaedsCare and help millions of parents better understand child health.

Key Responsibilities

• Write engaging scripts for educational videos focused on child health and parenting.
• Translate evidence-based medical information into simple, parent-friendly language.
• Convert clinical guidelines into clear, practical advice without compromising scientific accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with pediatricians to ensure medical accuracy.
• Develop compelling hooks, storytelling, and script structures that improve viewer engagement and retention.
• Write scripts for YouTube videos, short-form videos, and educational learning modules.
• Revise scripts based on medical and creative feedback.
• Maintain a calm, reassuring, empathetic, and non-judgmental tone throughout all content.
• Work closely with designers and video editors to visualize scripts effectively.
• Ensure consistency in the PaedsCare writing style across all educational content.
• Stay updated with international pediatric guidelines and evidence-based recommendations.

Must Have

• Experience writing educational video scripts.
• Experience in healthcare, medicine, science communication, or patient education.
• Background in Medicine, Life Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, Biotechnology, Psychology, Health Communication, or a related field.
• Familiarity with international clinical guidelines and evidence-based medical resources.
• Understanding of educational YouTube content and audience retention.
• Experience using AI-assisted research and writing tools, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.
• Ability to convert research papers, clinical guidelines, and medical literature into engaging educational scripts.

Shortlisting Process

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a paid script-writing assignment (approximately 23 minutes of video narration).

The assignment will assess:

Candidates who successfully complete the assignment may be invited for the final interview.
