Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in custom WordPress development, plugin customization, website optimization, and server management. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance WordPress websites while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• WordPress theme & plugin development/customization
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript & jQuery
• WordPress hooks, filters, actions, shortcodes & REST API
• Custom post types, taxonomies, templates & dynamic content
• MySQL database management, optimization, migration & troubleshooting
• Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, Gutenberg & other page builders
• Frontend development, responsive design & cross-browser compatibility
• Website speed, Core Web Vitals, caching, CDN & image optimization
• Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, webhooks & API integrations
• cPanel, SSL, DNS, hosting, FTP/SFTP & staging-to-live deployment
• WordPress migration, backup restoration & domain transfer
• SMTP setup, transactional emails & email deliverability
• SEO-friendly development, clean URLs, schema markup & Google Rich Snippets
• Plugin conflicts, PHP errors, layout issues & performance debugging
• WordPress security, updates, user roles, permissions & malware prevention

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress core, custom theme development, and plugin development.
• Experience with theme and plugin customization and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with cPanel, SSL installation, hosting management, and DNS configuration.
• Experience with Gravity Forms, Google Sheets integrations, APIs, and webhooks.
• Strong understanding of website speed optimization techniques and CDN implementation.
• Knowledge of Google Rich Snippets, Schema.org structured data, and SEO best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WooCommerce customization and development.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms and server administration.
• Understanding of website security best practices.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
