*Role & Responsibilities:*

As a Graphics Designer at News Alert 24X7, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling graphics that enhance our news coverage. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. *Graphic Design for News Content:*

• Design dynamic and creative graphics for on-air news, special segments, breaking news, and promotions.

• Create templates for lower thirds, full-screen graphics, news tickers, and charts that are clear, visually appealing, and consistent with the channel’s brand.

• Produce compelling visual assets for the digital platforms (social media, website, etc.) to support breaking news, live updates, and feature stories.

1. *Video Graphics & Animation:*

• Design and animate motion graphics for video packages, reports, and transitions during live and recorded shows.

• Ensure the visual elements in video content are aligned with editorial standards and enhance the viewer’s experience.

1. *Branding & Layout Design:*

• Maintain and develop the visual identity of the channel, ensuring all graphics and visual elements adhere to the established branding guidelines.

• Assist in designing promotional and marketing materials for both online and offline platforms (e.g., posters, banners, flyers, digital ads).

1. *Collaboration with Editorial & Production Teams:*

• Work closely with the editorial and production teams to understand the visual requirements for various news stories and segments.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts and graphic designs that meet the needs of news coverage.

• Adapt graphics and visual elements quickly to reflect breaking news, developments, or last-minute changes.

1. *Quality Assurance:*

• Ensure all graphics and visuals are of the highest quality, meeting the standards of professionalism and accuracy expected in news content.

• Review final visuals for correctness, consistency, and accuracy before publishing on-air or online.

1. *Timely Delivery:*

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently while ensuring timely delivery of all required graphics and animations during live news coverage.

*Required Qualifications & Skills:*

• *Experience:* Minimum 3-4 years of experience in graphic designing for a news channel, television network, or similar media company.

• *Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.

• *Skills:*

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.).

• Proficiency in motion graphics, video editing, and animation software.

• Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, and layout.

• Experience creating on-air graphics, news packages, and social media visuals for news content.

• Knowledge of news industry standards for design, including designing for fast-paced environments.

• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations during live broadcasts.

• Attention to detail and a creative eye for design.

• *Preferred:*

• Experience with 3D design and animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender).

• Familiarity with the Kannada language and cultural nuances.

• Understanding of digital marketing design principles.
