Azure Migration Specialist - Cloud Transformation & Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute migration of on-premises workloads to Azure using Azure migration tools and best practices.

• Design migration strategies utilizing:

• Azure Blob Storage
• Azure File Shares

• Azure Managed Disks

• Perform data migration and replication using:

• Azure NetApp Files

• NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)

• Conduct application discovery, dependency mapping, and workload assessment activities.
• Implement Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) practices for governance, landing zones, and cloud readiness.

• Develop and maintain automation workflows using:

• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Actions

• GitLab

• Containerize workloads using:

• Docker

• Podman

• Support migration and deployment of workloads into Kubernetes and AKS environments.
• Develop scripts and automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and Bash.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using:

• Terraform
• Bicep

• ARM Templates

• Troubleshoot migration issues involving networking, storage, compute, and application layers.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure successful migration outcomes.
