Showroom Assistant and Admin

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and organised Showroom Assistant and Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support showroom operations, assist clients, and contribute to the overall presentation of our products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Fluency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors professionally and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist clients with product enquiries and offer upselling opportunities to maximise sales
• Maintain the organisation and visual merchandising of the showroom to ensure an inviting atmosphere
• Support administrative tasks such as managing appointments, updating records, and handling correspondence
• Use SketchUp and or CAD software to prepare visual presentations or layouts as required
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and effective stock management
• Support the sales team with basic maths calculations for pricing, invoicing, and order processing
• Organise showroom displays and ensure all merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly

Experience

• Previous experience in retail, customer service and or administrative roles - 3 Years minimum experience required
• Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD, or merchandising is advantageous
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to demonstrate basic maths skills for transactional purposes
• Experience in upselling techniques and client engagement will be beneficial
• Uses initiative and hardworking
