Job Description

6-month Contract Role

Location: London

IR35: Inside

Start date: ASAP

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced and highly professional Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to a Senior Vice President.

Our client is keen to welcome the right person as soon as possible, so we’re looking for candidates who are available to start at short notice and can join the business quickly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, keeping things running seamlessly and making a genuine impact. You’ll become a trusted partner to the executive, providing high-level support while working closely with stakeholders across the business.

This is far more than a traditional diary management role. We’re looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive and enjoys variety. One day you could be coordinating complex travel and executive meetings, and the next you could be creating polished PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership or supporting key business initiatives.

If you’re someone who loves bringing order to a busy environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional work and enjoys working collaboratively, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive Executive Assistant support to a Senior Vice President.
  • Managing a busy and ever-changing diary, ensuring priorities are balanced effectively.
  • Coordinating complex UK and international travel, meetings and logistics.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact, confidently managing emails, calls and requests on behalf of the executive.
  • Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and externally.
  • Preparing high-quality presentations, board packs and PowerPoint decks.
  • Organising meetings, preparing agendas, collating papers and taking minutes where required.
  • Handling highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Liaising with teams across the organisation to ensure actions are completed and deadlines are met.
  • Processing purchase orders, invoices and contracts.
  • Supporting visitor management and onboarding new team members.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues when needed.

About You

  • You’ll be an experienced Executive Assistant who is confident supporting senior leaders within a fast-paced environment.
  • You’ll naturally stay one step ahead, anticipate what’s needed and enjoy finding solutions. You’re highly organised, calm under pressure and able to balance multiple priorities without compromising on quality.
  • You’ll also enjoy creating professional presentations and be happy to get involved in a variety of projects beyond the traditional EA responsibilities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience supporting senior executives, ideally at Senior Vice President or Director level.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The confidence to build relationships with people at all levels.
  • A proactive, flexible and positive approach.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • At least five years’ experience in an Executive Assistant role or a similar position.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, professional organisation where you’ll be trusted, valued and encouraged to make a real difference. If you’re looking for a varied role where no two days are the same and where you can truly partner with a senior leader, we’d love to hear from you.
