Freelance- Branding & Packaging Assistant

Job Description Position Summary: We’re looking for a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Branding & Packaging Assistant to support our Branding & Packaging Developer in bringing our wellness and yoga products to life through thoughtfully crafted packaging and brand elements. In this support role, you’ll help execute packaging projects, manage day-to-day development tasks, liaise with vendors, and ensure all branding and packaging align with our company’s values and visual identity.

This is a hands-on role with room to grow, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about wellness, design, and the consumer experience.

Key Responsibilities Support & Coordination:

• Work closely with the Branding & Packaging Developer and Trim & Packaging Manager to bring packaging and branding projects from concept to production.
• Assist in the preparation of artwork files, mockups, die lines, and presentation decks.
• Support the organization and documentation of packaging specs, approvals, samples, and material libraries.
• Track project timelines

Packaging Development

• Help develop packaging solutions for accessories, apparel and footwear products under the guidance of the team.
• Assist with coordinating packaging testing, quality checks, and sample reviews.

Branding Execution

• Assist in applying brand guidelines across physical product elements including labels, hangtags, insert cards, and printed collateral.
• Ensure consistent brand application across product lines and packaging formats.

Vendor Communication

• Support vendor communication for sample requests, material specs, production timelines, and approvals.
• Assist in maintaining vendor relationships and evaluating print and packaging quality.

Sustainability & Compliance

• Help implement sustainable packaging practices and maintain documentation on materials and certifications.
• Assist in partnering with our Product Integrity team and Legal to ensure compliance with packaging regulations and retail requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a branding, packaging, or product development support role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiar with Asana
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and printing/production methods a plus.
• Comfortable working collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, creative environment.
