CRUCIAL – APPLICATION INSTRUCTION (READ BEFORE APPLYING)
We do not accept generic, “one-click” applications. To be considered, you must follow the specific instructions in the “To Apply” section at the bottom of this ad, including the required written task. If you do not complete this task, or if you use an unedited, copy-pasted AI response, your application will be automatically archived by our system without review.
About Us
DecoNetwork is a global SaaS platform built for print, apparel, and promotional product businesses. We’ve been operating for over 15 years with the same core team, the same values, and the same commitment to building software that genuinely helps our customers succeed.
We’re not a startup chasing growth at any cost. We’re a stable, people-first business that takes a long view on our product, and on our people.
About the Role
This is an associate-level documentation and product support role sitting within our Product Experience team. Working closely under structured mentoring from an experienced team member, you will help maintain and improve our Help Center, write and update customer-facing articles, and ensure our documentation accurately reflects how the software actually works.
This is a dedicated learning role. We do not require a background in software, technical writing, or the print industry. However, we do require an analytical mind, elite organizational habits, and an absolute obsession with written clarity. We can teach you our platform, but we cannot teach natural curiosity, a calm approach to problem solving, or a high level of personal accountability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Writing and Content Creation: Writing and updating Help Center articles and customer documentation.
- Software Validation: Validating documentation against live software behavior to ensure absolute accuracy.
- Investigation: Reproducing, testing, and investigating customer-reported issues.
- Product Monitoring: Keeping track of product updates that require documentation changes.
- Content Optimization: Improving the consistency, tone, and usability of customer-facing content.
- Platform Mastery: Learning the ins and outs of our platform thoroughly under direct mentorship.
What We’re Looking For
- Elite Written Communication: Clear, plain, engaging, and highly accurate writing.
- Organized & Reliable: Someone who naturally follows through on tasks without being micromanaged.
- Technical Curiosity: A genuine interest in how software works and how real people interact with it.
- Tech-Savvy Adaptability: Comfortable learning new tools, including utilizing AI-assisted workflows efficiently.
- Useful (But Non-Essential) Experience: Prior experience in documentation, customer support, or SaaS is a bonus, but not required.
What We Offer
- Work From Home: Full-time remote flexibility.
- Location & Collaboration: Sydney-based (Work From Home). We value easy, regular face-to-face collaboration. To avoid wasting team time stuck in Sydney traffic, applicants must live within a 10–15 minute radius of the Canterbury/Inner West local area. If your commute to this general vicinity takes longer than 20 minutes, this role will not be a practical fit for our team structure.
- Professional Growth: Structured mentoring and clear progression into broader Product and UX work.
- Financial Incentives: A performance-based bonus linked to bi-annual KPI reviews.
To Apply
We read every genuine application, but we immediately delete automated spam. To prove you are an organized professional who reads details and follows through, please submit your resume and a short cover letter via SEEK.
Your application must meet the following three criteria to be considered:
1.The Phrase: Please open your cover letter with the exact phrase: “I am local to the Inner West/Canterbury area and ready to learn.”
-
The Written Task: Tell us about a time you had to explain something complicated in plain language, whether in writing, in a previous role, or anywhere else in your life. This story is the main thing we want to see.
-
Location Check: Confirm your current residential suburb on your resume. (Applicants living outside of our local catch-up zone or greater Sydney will not be progressed).
