AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure, including IAM, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, ECS, and EKS.
• Build serverless and event-driven architectures using API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch and other observability tools to ensure system reliability.
• Apply AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, Secrets Manager, network security, encryption, and access controls.
• Monitor cloud resource utilization and recommend optimizations to improve performance and control infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with development, AI/ML, and platform teams to support deployment and scaling of enterprise applications.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash for scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration using ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost optimization principles.
• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or Developer) is preferred.
• Exposure to AWS AI services such as Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker is an added advantage.
