Job Description
Marketing & Community Manager
Woven · Carmel, IN (In-office) · Full-time · $60,000–$68,000/year
About Woven
Woven helps multi-location operators run better businesses. We believe great companies are built by talented people working together toward a common goal, guided by four shared values: Respect for each other and our customers, a commitment to Educate by never letting up on learning or teaching, Balance that has us doing whatever it takes while honoring each person’s work-life balance, and a drive to Serve the customers who count on us.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing & Community Manager to formalize and activate our customer community. We already have raving fans and a high share of new business that comes through referrals. This role turns that goodwill into a deliberate program. You’ll celebrate our customers, drive referrals, share training and knowledge, and keep our champions close as they grow their careers, while also running the day-to-day of our marketing across blog, email, and social.
You’ll work directly with our (fractional) CMO, who sets the marketing strategy - your job is to bring it to life with craft, consistency, and real heart for our customers. If you’re a relationship-builder and storyteller who thrives on a variety of responsibilities, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
Activate our customer community (the heart of this role)
· Formalize and activate Woven’s customer community - we already have raving fans and a high rate of referral-driven sales, so your job is to turn that goodwill into a deliberate, repeatable program.
· Drive referrals and make advocacy easy and rewarding so word of mouth becomes an even bigger engine for net-new sales.
· Deliver training and knowledge-sharing that gives the community ongoing reasons to engage through education, best practices, and peer-to-peer learning.
· Spotlight and celebrate our customers - shine a light on the field leaders and managers who run great locations (think an “Operator of the Week” franchise) and create real organic buzz.
· Keep our champions close - track and re-engage key contacts as they change roles or companies, so a champion’s next move becomes Woven’s next opportunity.
· Source and produce customer stories - testimonials, spotlights, and case studies that show our customers at their best.
Guide the content calendar across channels
· Manage the content calendar end to end - plan, draft, schedule, and publish across blog, email, and LinkedIn at a steady, reliable cadence.
· Turn community moments into content - use spotlights, stories, and customer wins as a renewable source of material.
· Write in Woven’s voice - operator-led, plainspoken, and useful, not generic SaaS.
· Partner with our content partners, leadership, and subject-matter experts, and keep brand standards consistent across every asset.
Support digital marketing (AI-assisted)
· Help keep Woven visible in search and AI engines using our SEO/GEO platform - AI tooling will do much of the heavy lifting, so this is about acting on what the tools surface, not hand-tuning every page.
· Support paid and campaign execution - help launch, monitor, and report on campaigns; keep landing pages, distribution lists, and UTMs clean.
· Keep website and social content current, support the Sales team with assets, and pull together regular performance snapshots across community, content, and campaigns.
What We’re Looking For
· 2–4 years of experience in community management, marketing, social media, and/or content - ideally in B2B SaaS or a fast-paced growth environment.
· A natural relationship-builder with a knack for making customers feel celebrated and turning them into advocates and referrers.
· Strong writing and editing skills, with samples of content (blog, email, or social) you can share.
· Hands-on experience managing a content calendar and publishing across blog, email, and social.
· Comfortable using AI tools to work faster - including for SEO, search, and content - while keeping a human voice.
· Familiarity with basic campaign mechanics (UTMs, landing pages, simple reporting); deep technical SEO expertise is a plus, not a requirement.
· Organized self-starter with a sharp eye for brand consistency and detail, who welcomes coaching and feedback.
· Bonus: experience building a community, advocacy, referral, or customer-marketing program, or marketing to multi-location, franchise, or field…
