Job description:

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect / Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with 12+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in architecting, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale AWS cloud environments.

Mandatory Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with extensive hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud.
• Mandatory experience in AWS Sandbox environments , including provisioning, governance, lifecycle management, and enabling secure self-service cloud environments for development and testing.
• Strong experience in AWS architecture, cloud migration, cloud modernization, and cloud-native application design.

Expertise in core AWS services including:

• EC2
• VPC
• S3
• RDS
• IAM
• Route 53
• ELB/ALB/NLB
• Auto Scaling
• CloudFormation
• CloudWatch
• Lambda
• API Gateway
• ECS/EKS
• AWS Organizations
• AWS Control Tower
• Hands-on experience designing and managing multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and DNS.
• Expertise in AWS security, IAM, encryption, governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Experience in monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery, backup strategies, high availability, and business continuity planning.
• Experience in cloud cost optimization, FinOps, and governance.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and solution architecture skills.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate (Preferred)

Note: Hands-on experience with AWS Sandbox design, deployment, governance, and operational management is mandatory .

Candidates without AWS Sandbox experience will not be considered.
