Senior Project Manager- Commercial Construction

A well-established and highly respected construction management / general contracting firm in the Indianapolis market is looking to add a strong Senior Project Manager to its growing team.

This is a confidential search for a company with a strong reputation across Indiana and the broader Midwest, known for delivering high-quality work across markets such as healthcare, commercial, municipal, education, senior living, sports/recreation, and community-focused construction.

Responsibilities may include:

• Leading commercial construction projects from planning through completion
• Managing project schedules, budgets, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and owner communication
• Partnering closely with field leadership to support safety, quality, logistics, and execution
• Coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Supporting preconstruction, buyout, forecasting, billing, and project controls
• Helping maintain strong client relationships and repeat business opportunities
• Mentoring Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, or other team members as needed

Ideal background:

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience (Managing projects $15M+; Ground-up preferred )
• Experience with a general contractor, construction manager, or design-build contractor
• Project experience in healthcare, commercial, municipal, education, senior living, or similar vertical construction markets
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, documentation, and project teams
• Procore or similar construction management software experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred, but not required with the right experience
