Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Pipelines or Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Build and manage data transformations using Fabric Notebooks or Azure Databricks (PySpark/SQL).
  • Implement and maintain Lakehouse architecture in Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and semi-structured data.
  • Work with Delta Lake, Parquet, and other modern storage formats.
  • Perform data modeling and optimization for analytics workloads.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with business and BI teams to deliver data for reporting and analytics.
  • Support Power BI datasets, data models, and basic report optimization (secondary responsibility).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve performance issues.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with either of the following technology stacks:
  • Option 1:
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Power BI
  • OR
  • Option 2:
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
  • Azure Databricks
  • Power BI
  • Good knowledge of:
  • PySpark / Spark SQL
  • SQL (T-SQL or equivalent)
  • Data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)
  • Lakehouse architecture
  • Delta Lake
  • Experience with data ingestion and processing.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and deployment in Fabric & Azure.
  • Need more fabric experience
