MOBILE DEVELOPER – NON Paid Internship

Mandate: Build and own the Sports Excitement mobile application from the ground up. Ship user-facing features, integrate with the NestS REST API, and collaborate with the frontend, backend, design, and security teams. This is a greenfield build – not maintaining an existing app.

What you will do:

• Build the Sports Excitement mobile app from the ground up for iOS and Android

• Own feature delivery across the community hub, gear shop, auth, and dashboard on mobile

• Integrate with the NestJS REST API and manage local state, caching, and offline support

• Implement responsive, native-feeling Ul with the team’s chosen mobile framework

• Work within the Spec-Driven Development workflow (the mobile codebase enforces it through Cl)

• Write and maintain automated tests and keep Cl green

• Collaborate with backend, frontend, design, and security teams on contracts and access rules

• Use Al coding agents effectively: write precise prompts, review generated output critically

Who we are looking for:

• 2+ years professional mobile development experience

• Proven track record of shipping a mobile application – React Native or Flutter strongly preferred (cross-platform for iOS and Android)

• Experience integrating with REST APIs, managing auth tokens, and handling offline data

• TypeScript proficiency (for React Native) or Dart (for Flutter)

• Understanding of mobile-specific security: secure storage, certificate pinning, biometric auth

• Experience with mobile CI/CD (EAS Build, TestFlight, Play Console, or equivalent)

• Architectural sense: reasons about component structure, state management, navigation patterns

• Comfortable directing and supervising Al coding agents

• Published apps on App Store or Google Play is a strong plus

• Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience is a plus
