Role Description The Volunteer UI/UX Designer role is a full-time, remote position focused on designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile products. Day-to-day tasks include conducting user research and translating insights into wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that align with product goals and brand guidelines. The designer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to refine interfaces, improve usability, and support consistent design systems. Responsibilities also include creating high-quality visual assets, iterating on mockups based on feedback and testing, and ensuring designs are feasible for front-end implementation. Qualifications

• Strong User Experience (UX) skills, including user research, journey mapping, information architecture, and usability testing.
• Proficiency in User Interface Design and Visual Design, with the ability to create clean, accessible, and consistent layouts and design systems.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and Mockups using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects and clear design rationale.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, full-time volunteer capacity, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
• Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility standards, and design for web and mobile platforms.
• Relevant education or training in design, HCI, computer science, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent experience is also valued.
