Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom and practical sessions.
• Teach Interior Design concepts from basic to advanced levels.
• Train students in residential, commercial, and hospitality design.
• Guide students in live projects and portfolio development.
• Conduct workshops, design critiques, and practical assessments.
• Assist students in software learning and visualization techniques.
• Stay updated with current design trends and industry practices.
• Support placement preparation and career guidance.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Interior Design principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to mentor students effectively.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for teaching and student development.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Industry professionals with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Common postings for interior design faculty in India also emphasize practical design experience alongside teaching ability.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years preferred.
• Freshers with exceptional portfolios and communication skills may also apply.
