Web Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

TrackPad is looking for a motivated Web Developer (WordPress & Shopify) with 1–2 years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining WordPress and Shopify websites, along with a basic understanding of technical SEO and website optimization.

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys solving technical problems, and can work collaboratively with designers and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites.
• Customize themes, pages, and website layouts.
• Upload and manage products, collections, and website content.
• Ensure websites are responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Perform routine website updates, maintenance, and bug fixes.
• Optimize website speed and performance.
• Implement basic technical SEO changes such as:
• Meta titles and descriptions
• Image optimization
• URL structure
• Redirects
• XML Sitemap
• Robots.txt
• Install and configure plugins and Shopify apps.
• Troubleshoot website issues and ensure smooth functionality.
• Coordinate with the design and marketing teams to implement new features and landing pages.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in WordPress and/or Shopify development.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
• Experience with Elementor, WooCommerce, or Shopify themes.
• Basic understanding of technical SEO and website optimization.
• Familiarity with cPanel, hosting, domain, and SSL management.
• Knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.
