Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize server-side applications using Java, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate communication between different system components.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI elements with backend logic, utilizing frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Conduct thorough debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of backend systems to ensure reliability.
• Participate actively in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and perform code reviews to uphold coding standards and quality assurance.
• Utilize version control tools such as GitHub or SVN to manage code repositories effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Java application development with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Hands-on knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience working with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or T-SQL; knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is a plus.
• Proficiency with development tools such as Eclipse or Visual Studio; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within an iterative development environment.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is advantageous.
• Ability to write clean, efficient code while adhering to best practices in software development and database design.
