About the Role
Nuvollo is hiring a Senior Implementation Specialist to lead complex infrastructure and cloud deployments across client environments.This is a client-facing, senior technical role focused on designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments.You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-impact projects, resolve advanced technical issues, and elevate overall service quality.
What You’ll Own (Outcomes)
In the first 6–12 months, success in this role means:
- Leading end-to-end implementation and migration projects
- Acting as the Tier 3 escalation point for critical issues
- Designing and deploying Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions
- Improving system reliability, security, and performance
- Contributing to automation, documentation, and knowledge sharing
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex escalations
- Design and implement Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid cloud solutions
- Configure and manage:
- Azure infrastructure and virtual machines
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
- Identity & access (Azure AD, authentication, security controls)
- Administer Windows Server environments:
- Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, replication, RDS
- Manage infrastructure:
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Storage (SAN/NAS), backup, disaster recovery
- Implement security and compliance tools (Microsoft Defender, Purview)
- Troubleshoot system, network, and performance issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Provide remote and onsite client support
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Automate tasks using PowerShell
- Mentor junior team members
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment
- 5+ years hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server (AD, DNS, Group Policy)
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Azure infrastructure
- Experience with:
- Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure VMs)
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Microsoft security tools (Defender, compliance tools)
- Experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations (BitTitan, Datto, etc.)
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and client-facing communication skills
- Microsoft 365 or Azure certification (intermediate or higher)
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft certifications
- Experience with:
- Linux, SQL, or SAP
- Cisco Duo, SonicWall, Fortinet
- ConnectWise or similar tools
- Bilingual (English / French)
